Asheville GreenWorks hosts hard-to-recycle collection Saturday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Asheville GreenWorks will host its Hard 2 Recycle Collection this Saturday, Dec. 6, at TC Roberson High School, and organizers are expecting a large turnout.

The event coincides with two other activities at the school, and attendees are encouraged to allow extra time and have items pre-sorted for reuse or recycling. Organizers recommend using the address 16 Miami Circle, Arden, NC 28704, for GPS directions.

There is a $10 fee to recycle televisions and computer monitors. Rigid Styrofoam that breaks into tiny beads is accepted, along with electronics, lawn equipment and small appliances.
