Congrats to Carl Cunningham at Community High School, our M.B. Haynes Teacher of the Month!

Melanie and Michael from The Morning Mix teamed up with Chris Pennington from M.B. Haynes to surprise Mr. Cunningham at school. As our newest Teacher of the Month, he was presented with prizes from our generous prize sponsors: MB Haynes and Massage Envy.

Principal Cathy Haughney shared the following when asked why Mr. Cunningham deserves to be honored:

As described by a parent, “Mr. Cunningham possesses an innate ability to reach students through his passion for teaching. He goes above and beyond to make sure that all students have the education they deserve.” Mr. Cunningham strives to build relationships with students and families. He understands where they have been and where they want to go. Mr. Cunningham helps students identify goals, and the necessary steps it will take to for them to find success. His students look up to him as a mentor, and each student knows that he is their greatest fan. Mr. Cunningham is kind, patient, and compassionate and when you are around him you can feel the passion he has for education.
