Congrats to Amy Atkinson at Hominy Valley Elementary School in Candler, our M.B. Haynes Teacher of the Month!

The Morning Mix with Melanie teamed up with M.B. Haynes to surprise Ms. Atkinson with the news in her classroom.

As our newest Teacher of the Month, she was presented with prizes from our generous prize sponsors: MB Haynes and Caroline Albea Orthodontics!

Ms. Atkinson was nominated by Kristy Wooten from Candler, who shared this when she nominated her to become Teacher of the Month:

Miss A is the best teacher because all her students love her as she is caring, loving, and a fun teacher. My son will be 21 this year and will still tell you that Miss A is his favorite teacher (she was his 4th grade teacher) She made learning fun!! Please pick her; she so deserves to be picked!
