Congrats to Jeannie Graeme at North Buncombe High School, our M.B. Haynes Teacher of the Month!

The Morning Mix with Melanie & Crystal teamed up with Chris Pennington from M.B. Haynes to surprise Jeannie in her classroom. As our newest Teacher of the Month, she was presented with prizes from our generous prize sponsors: MB Haynes and Massage Envy!

Mrs. Graeme was nominated by Lorrie Holderfield who had this to share when asked why this teacher deserved some special recognition:

“Mrs. Graeme has been an incredible, dedicated, talented and loving teacher and choir director for many years! My daughter, a sophomore, adores and respects her- all of the students do- it is quite evident at each and every concert. Her skill and talent is another reason she deserves this award! The first time I sat in one of those concerts, I was blown away! This group of students is outstanding! A simple school performance feels like a professional event that I would have gladly purchased tickets to. I have an adult friend who recently told me that he was in choir with her many years ago and that she was the best teacher he had ever had. Having a teenager who gets excited about school and brags about her teacher is a beautiful and special feeling. Next year will be her last year teaching.”
