Congrats to Carrie Carpenter at North Buncombe Elementary School, our M.B. Haynes Teacher of the Month!

The Morning Mix with Melanie & Crystal teamed up with Chris Pennington from M.B. Haynes to surprise Carrie in her classroom. As our newest Teacher of the Month, she was presented with prizes from our generous prize sponsors: MB Haynes and Caroline Albea Orthodontics!

Carrie was nominated by Kimberley Webb from Alexander, whose son is in Carrie’s class. Here’s what she shared when asked why this teacher deserved some special recognition:

We met Carrie when she had our son Kohen in class a few years ago. He needed certain things due to a birth defect and she worked hard to help with that issue, setting a timer for him. Now our son Gideon is in her class, and seeing how much
passion she has for teaching, the dedication for each child to perform their best. She has been such a blessing to our children and us as parents, knowing that their teacher loves my kids as much as I do it eases my mind
