Congrats to Whitney Mebane at Fernleaf Community Charter School in Fletcher, our M.B. Haynes Teacher of the Month!

The Morning Mix with Melanie teamed up with Chris Pennington from M.B. Haynes to surprise Ms. Mebane with the news in her classroom.

As our newest Teacher of the Month, she was presented with prizes from our generous prize sponsors: MB Haynes and Caroline Albea Orthodontics!

Ms. Mebane was nominated by Julie Paladino from Arden, who shared this when she nominated her to become Teacher of the Month:

She has an amazing teaching style & cares so much about her students. She lost everything after Helene. (20 years of collecting) she goes above & beyond every day to make her students feel special.
