Dog Day Afternoon is an exciting day of FREE fun for the whole family with dog activities, dog rescue, local vendors and pet contests! If you’re looking to adopt, come out to meet available dogs from local rescue groups. If you already have a dog – bring them along with your family and friends to enjoy the day at Lake Julian. Sign up for pet contests on site -for a chance to win prizes!
There will be food trucks plus pet booths featuring a wide variety of pet care, pet products, pet training and tasty treats for your dogs.
Event Info
When: Saturday, May 9 at Lake Julian Park, 406 Overlook Extension, Arden, NC 28704. **Be sure to enter the park off of Long Shoals Road, near the Wild Wing Cafe (not the entrance on Hendersonville Road).
Parking
You can park inside the park or in the gravel lot at Wild Wing Cafe. There is a trail that leads from the parking lot to the park. There is limited parking, so we encourage carpooling to the event.
