Asheville Area Focus: Responsible Stewardship

Benny Braden founded Responsible Stewardship to help clean up our parks and trails in the mountains of Western North Carolina and Eastern TN. Through education, outreach, and group cleanups, Benny is reminding us that when we head outdoors, we should always “leave no trace” and “leave the land better than we found it”.

Benny also reminds us of the impact of geotagging on social media and how this common practice could lead to more refuse being left on the trails.

Listen for the details of the upcoming biggest cleanup event yet in celebration of Earth Day!
