This time a year ago we were in a state of transition. Dex had left to pursue his career in a larger market (He’s doing great!). So the search began for a new co-host. Enter Kipper Schauer. We knew each only through brief exchanges when our paths happened to cross, which wasn’t often since he was working nights.

A year later, I can tell you that he is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He has a huge heart and is a wonderful friend as well as a fun co-host. And he listens really well!  Admittedly, I tend to judge people and situations quite quickly and not always fairly. One day we were joking around in the boss’ office – and I made a statement — we all laughed and said I should have a name plate with that statement on it. So, to celebrate our 1 year anniversary, here’s Kipper’s gift to me:
