Swannanoa-based Hearts with Hands has been helping victims of natural disasters since 1992 and they’re awesome. They’ll pack up your donations and truck them to Monroe, Louisiana, where they’ll be staging to distribute relief supplies. You can drop off supplies at the warehouse on Warren Wilson Rd. Also, because they’re able to buy in bulk, they’re able to stretch your financial donation. Online donation is easy; you can even use Paypal.
