Scooter is a stunning 7-year-old Akita/Husky mix who came to Asheville Humane Society after his previous owner could no longer care for him. He is very timid around new people, but with a lot of help from the Behavior team (and plenty of treats!), Scooter has started to come out of his shell. He will be most successful in a home without young children and would do best if he could meet any potential doggie roommates prior to living with them.
