With the demand of food delivery over the past year and a half, Uber Eats is beginning to notice some trends. Asheville has much to be proud of according to the 2021 Uber Eats Cravings Report.

Before we get to what singles us out here in the mountains, some generic trends reveal that grocery delivery is on the rise and expected to continue to grow. Weekends at dinnertime is the most popular time to order your food. With the addition of CVS, Walgreens and flower shops, you can order almost anything.

We love our comfort food. Specifically cheesy fries. Side orders of cheese fries increased more than 1,234% since before the pandemic.

The most popular food is Mexican, the most ordered item is French fries, and the most popular request is “no onion”.

The most generous tippers were found to be in….Asheville!! Nice job!!
