Should This Asheville Woman’s License Plate Be Revoked?

Karly Sindy was surprised that her request for a personalized plate was approved and arrived in the mail last October from the NC DMV. But she soon received notice that the DMV was receiving complaints about her plate and was considering revoking it. Karly was given the opportunity to explain why she asked for the plate.

That’s when Karly came up with a brilliant solution. She created the group called Friends of Asheville Recreational Trails. She created merch, a website, and even held a meeting with about 15 attendees! All of this caught the attention of Jimmy Kimmel who asked her to appear on his show with the infamous plate.
