Swannanoa Professor on Jeopardy!

When we found out that a professor from Swannanoa’s Warren Wilson College would be competing on the first-ever Professor’s Tournament on Jeopardy! we just had to reach out to Dr. Alisa Hove to hear all about it!

What is it like to stand at that podium and compete in the greatest game show of all time?

Did you practice your buzzer technique before getting on the plane to LA?

And what about those rumors of what’s behind the podium?

We have so many questions and Dr. Hove, Professor of Botany and Chair of the Biology Department, was nice enough to answer all of them! Click PLAY on the link below to hear Dr. Hove describe her experience and how everyone at the show holds the late Alex Trebek so near and dear to their hearts.

Watch Dr. Hove compete on the 12/10 episode for her chance at the $100,000 prize!!

Go Dr. Hove!! Go Warren Wilson College!!
