Melanie, Crystal, & callers give their opinions on this…….. My daughter is 17 and a senior in high school. On Wednesday, she asked if her boyfriend could sleep over this weekend. He’s also a senior. It’s the first time she’s asked me. I’m a single mom and don’t have a husband to rely on so I have to make this call by myself. I’m torn over what to do. A part of me says to go ahead and trust my daughter until she makes a mistake, and I can no longer trust her. The other part of me wants to protect her from making any mistakes and tell her NO. If I do that she may go outside the house and do things I don’t want her to do. What would you do if you were me? Trust her or not? -Anonymous
