Frying Pan Tower sits about 32 miles south of Bald Head Island, NC. It’s a former US Coastguard lighthouse that’s now a bed and breakfast, owned and operated by a software engineer from Mint Hill, NC – near Charlotte. The hurricane is passing very near the tower – where live cams are capturing the action.
