ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — John McClung Roofing, a family-owned business based in Asheville, says it continues to focus on residential and commercial roofing services across Western North Carolina while highlighting financing options and community outreach programs.

Founded in 2004 by John McClung, the company was established after McClung spent years working in the roofing industry and, according to the company, saw a need for greater accountability and integrity. He launched the business with an emphasis on workmanship, transparency and standing behind completed projects.

More than 20 years later, the company provides roofing services that include repairs, full replacements and metal roofing systems for residential and commercial customers throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains region.

The company has received multiple regional honors, including “Best of Asheville” and “Best of WNC” and maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, according to its website.

John McClung Roofing also works with homeowners on insurance claims and offers financing options intended to make roofing projects more accessible, particularly following severe weather events. After Tropical Storm Helene, the company said it assisted hundreds of local homeowners with roof repairs and replacements.

A current financing promotion includes $0 payments and 0% interest for 90 days, along with free, no-obligation estimates for repairs or full roof replacements.

Beyond its services, the company emphasizes community involvement. It says it donates to local schools for every roof installed and supports an annual breast cancer initiative each October that has raised nearly $70,000 for women in Western North Carolina. The company also hosts an annual backpack giveaway that distributed about 800 backpacks to students last year through partnerships with local businesses.

“The only thing that matters more to us than your roof are the people under it,” the company said in describing its guiding philosophy.
