ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — For over 40 years, D.C. Creasman Jewelers has been crafting the finest custom jewelry in the Asheville area and beyond. Below is a little more about the company.

Question: Looking for a one of a kind piece of jewelry? Have an idea to create a combination of several pieces of jewelry? What all goes into custom, crafted jewelry?

Answer: “D.C. Creasman Jewelers specializes in crafting jewelry for individuals who want that ring, pendant, bracelet or necklace that no one else has custom designed to your specifications and desires,” according to their website.

You can bring in gold, diamonds, colored stones, rings, earrings or necklaces you don’t wear anymore and Creasman can make something new out of it.

“We carve the waxes here,” owner David Creasman says. “We then cast them into what metal the customer wants, and we will let them use their metal or I can find my own. We do the casting, we finish it. We do everything here.”

Creasman says keeping everything in-house alleviates any anxiety people might have about shipping their jewelry off to a different location.

About D.C. Creasman Jewelers:

D.C. Creasman Jewelers was established in 1979. David began his career when he was 17 years old and started out in a manufacturing jewelry store downtown Asheville and retail store in the Asheville Mall. From there, he opened his own jewelry store on Tunnel Road in a very small shop. He moved to his current location in 1992 and has a staff of 6. His mom Ramona Creasman, retired from Southern Bell, joined him along with his sister Lisa. Currently he has 4 designing jewelers, including himself to personally service the jewelry area with customers all along the southeast and further! It is not unusual for customers to drive specifically to get jewelry work done from Charlotte, Atlanta and many areas of Florida.
