ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — For 13 years, Best Buy Metals has been a staple in the Asheville construction and building supply industry, earning a reputation for quality metal roofing and siding materials, speedy delivery and unmatched customer service.

Founded by Isaac Libbey, Best Buy Metals has grown into an industry leader with seven supporting facilities, allowing the company to manufacture and deliver products faster than competitors — keeping projects on time and on budget.

“The Asheville Best Buy Metals team is driven by expertise, exceptional customer service and a deep commitment to community involvement,”  outside sales representative Tammy Potter said.

The company’s primary clientele includes contractors, though it also serves builders, homeowners, business owners and farmers. What sets Best Buy Metals apart, Potter said, is not just the high-quality materials — but the people behind them.

“Our team truly goes the extra mile. Great service is what defines us,” she said. “We’ve been the go-to experts for nearly 25 years, and we have a team of absolute aces ready to help.”

One of the key advantages Best Buy Metals offers is direct manufacturing. “Because we make everything in-house, our customers skip the middleman,” Potter explained. “They get premium roofing and siding materials at better prices, with much faster turnaround times.”

In addition to products, Best Buy Metals also invests in education through its Contractor Certification Courses. These combine classroom learning with hands-on training and include product demos, installation techniques, and Q&A sessions. Attendees also receive company merchandise and a complimentary breakfast. Those interested in upcoming courses can contact Potter directly at 828-752-0838 or tpotter@bestbuymetals.com.

Best Buy Metals maintains a strong online presence through its website, bestbuymetalroofing.com, and social media accounts @bestbuymetals. Potter also shares product tips and company culture on her LinkedIn through her #MetalCrushMonday posts, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the team she calls “the heartbeat of Best Buy Metals.”

Beyond business, the company plays a quiet but powerful role in the community. Currently, Best Buy Metals is working with local groups in Buncombe County and surrounding areas to provide roofing materials to individuals and families still recovering from Tropical Storm Helene.

Libbey’s philanthropic efforts extend beyond the region. He is the founder of Arms of Hope, an orphanage in Haiti, and is active in partnerships with Habitat for Humanity and the United Way. In recognition of these contributions, Libbey was recently awarded the 2025 M.C. Headrick Free Enterprise Award.

The mission has always been about more than just roofing, Potter said. It’s about helping people — whether it is customers, contractors or communities in need.

As Best Buy Metals celebrates its 13th year in Asheville, the company remains focused on innovation, education and service, continuing to lead the industry while staying grounded in its values.
