Couple found dead in Fairview home

FAIRVIEW, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of a husband and wife found Thursday inside their home on Noble Road in Fairview.

Deputies responded to the residence at 97 Noble Road about 5 p.m. and discovered Paul and Kimberly Giacobbe dead inside, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

Authorities said the circumstances surrounding the deaths remain under investigation, but there are no suspects or persons of interest and no threat to the community.

“Our hearts and thoughts are with this family and others impacted,” District 1 Capt. Dustan Auldredge said in a statement. “We understand there have been a lot of questions about this incident, and we wanted to make sure immediate family had been notified before releasing information. We will continue to prioritize the family and their needs at this time.”
