WEAVERVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Huey Magoo’s, a fast-casual chain specializing in chicken tenders, is marking their Weaverville grand opening with giveaways, a BOGO deal and a chance for all customers to win Free Chicken for a Year.

The grand opening celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 28 at Huey Magoo’s Weaverville, 61 Weaver Blvd.

Huey Magoo’s Weaverville is locally owned and operated.

“We have always been huge fans of Weaverville and were so excited when the opportunity to expand here popped up! In the short time since we opened our doors, the people of Weaverville have been amazing,” owners RJ and Lori Murray said in a statement. “We are incredibly proud to be a part of Weaverville and look forward to serving lots of tenders to happy customers!”

There are several promotional perks tied to the grand opening:

  • During the event, the first 100 adults and first 100 kids to hop in line will receive a limited edition grand opening hat.
  • From Thursday, March 26 to Saturday, March 28, guests can enjoy a buy-one-get-one 5-piece meal with a drink.
  • All guests from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, March 28, will be entered to win Free Chicken for a Year.
