Late Night Asheville event to transform downtown into winter wonderland

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Next week, shops across downtown Asheville will stay open late and welcome the community in for an evening of winter celebration.

The event, Late Night Asheville, will run from 6-9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12.

Late Night Asheville details

“Late Night Asheville is designed to showcase the charm and creativity of local businesses during one of the most joyful times of the year. Participating shops will stay open late, offering everything from curated holiday gifts and exclusive promotions to complimentary treats and seasonal sips. Many businesses will feature light snacks and beverages, and luminaries to add extra sparkle to the night,” Late Night Asheville wrote in a press release.

“Late Night Asheville is really about capturing the magic of downtown during the holidays,” said Denise Foy, organizer of the event. “It’s an opportunity to slow down, explore, and enjoy our local shops in a cozy, festive setting. The community support during evenings like this means so much to our small businesses.”
