ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Panda Express will celebrate the grand opening of its newest Asheville location Friday, June 26, at 146 Smokey Park Highway.

A community celebration is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m., featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the local Chamber of Commerce.

As part of the opening event, the company will present a $1,000 donation to MANNA FoodBank.

The Asheville restaurant is the latest expansion for the national chain, which operates hundreds of locations across the United States.
