ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The PGA TOUR has named Nate Goldsnider event director of the Biltmore Championship Asheville, bringing nearly a decade of experience in professional golf and large-scale event operations to the tournament.

Goldsnider previously worked with the Travelers Championship and later supported several of the PGA TOUR’s marquee events, including THE PLAYERS Championship and the World Golf Championships–Dell Technologies Match Play.

He later expanded his career into motorsports and live entertainment, overseeing operations for Formula 1, MotoGP, NASCAR and major concerts at Circuit of the Americas. Most recently, he managed tournament operations for the Texas Children’s Houston Open with the Astros Golf Foundation.

“Nate brings an exceptional blend of PGA TOUR experience, operational expertise and collaborative leadership,” Jordan Uppleger, vice president of PGA TOUR Events, said in a news release. “We are thrilled to have him lead the Biltmore Championship Asheville. His background and approach make him a great fit for this tournament and for the Asheville community, and we’re confident he will help set a strong standard for the tournament in its inaugural year.”

A graduate of Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire, Goldsnider earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management and was a letter winner on the school’s men’s golf team.

“I’m incredibly excited to step into this role and to be part of the Asheville community,” Goldsnider said in the release. “The Biltmore Championship Asheville has the potential to grow into far more than a golf tournament and truly serve the community. I’m looking forward to working alongside local partners, volunteers and fans to create an event that reflects the spirit of this city and delivers a first-class experience for everyone involved.”

The inaugural Biltmore Championship Asheville is scheduled for Sept. 17-20, 2026, at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove. More information is available at biltmorechampionship.com.
