ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Several Western North Carolina school systems have announced delayed starts for Tuesday as reports of wintry mixed precipitation spread across the region.

Those districts include:

Madison County Schools: Two-hour delay
Mayland Community College: Two-hour delay
Mitchell County Schools: Two-hour delay
Yancey County Schools: Two-hour delay
