ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Tiki Easy Bar at Hi-Wire Brewing South Slope is bringing back its Sippin’ Santa holiday pop-up for its third year Wednesday, Nov. 19 through Wednesday, Dec. 31.

The pop-up features Christmas island decor, specialty cocktails and other holiday treats. Think “Santa plus surf.”

Tiki twinkle lights

“Sippin’ Santa has become an Asheville holiday tradition, and we’re excited to bring it back for year three,” said Maggie Konouck, bar manager at Tiki Easy Bar, in a press release. “It’s the perfect excuse to escape the chilly mountain air and pretend you’re at a beach somewhere.”

Alongside their usual mocktails, cocktails and rare rum collection, Sippin’ Santa will feature its own menu and an exclusive “Secret Santa” cocktail on a weekly rotation.

“Tropical newcomers such as the Pineapple Upside-Down Cask and Wreck the Halls will share the spotlight with signature classics such as the Jingle Bird, Holiday on Ice and Sugar Plum Mai Tai,” the bar wrote in the release. “Sippin’ Santa presented by Beachbum Berry’s giftable custom tiki mugs and glassware will also be available for purchase, while supplies last.”

Admission is free, and tables are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, though groups of 6-10 are encouraged to reserve the private “Cynamon Cove” room for $35 at www.tikieasybar.com.

Tiki Easy Bar is located at 197 Hilliard Ave. inside of Hi-Wire Brewing South Slope. The bar is open from 5-10:30 p.m., Sunday-Thursday, and 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. The bar will open at 2 p.m. from Dec. 26-31.
