high school crush or a fiancé?
high school crush or a fiancé?

THERAPY THURSDAY QUESTION:
Dear Melanie & Crystal,
My boyfriend and I talked about getting married two weeks ago. Everything was going great until it wasn’t. I ran to the mall the other night and bumped into my childhood crush. I immediately got goosebumps and butterflies and felt the pit in my stomach like I did in junior high and high school. We exchanged numbers and agreed to get together for lunch. Now, all I do is think about him. I’m questioning my decision to marry my boyfriend. My boyfriend doesn’t give me the feelings my childhood crush does. My head says to stay with the safe choice, my boyfriend. My heart says chase my childhood crush because that will be exciting and keep my interest. Safe versus not safe. What would you do? -Anonymous
