My head says No, should I call her?
My head says No, should I call her?

Dear Melanie & Crystal, I am a 35-year-old man with a wonderful fiancé, a successful career, and a great family. On Friday, I received a phone call from my biological mother. She gave me up just weeks after I was born. I consider my adoptive mother and father my real parents. My biological mom asked me for help. She’s lost just about everything and contacted me because she says she has nowhere else to turn. I had never spoken to my biological mother before Friday. At first, I was mad, but now, I feel I need to do something even though she gave me up. Should I be the bigger person and do something positive for her? My head is telling me NO. What would you do if you were me? Should I help my mother or not? -Anonymous
