The Village Potters Clay Center – 5/10/2026

Sarah Wells Roland: Owner, Founder, & Executive Director

Kat Reeves; Marketing & Creative Director at The Village Potters Foundation

The Village Potters Clay Center is a vibrant creative community dedicated to the exploration of clay. Our collective studio is the perfect place for you to come learn, create, get inspired, shop, and simply experience the beautiful world of clay all in one place. Explore our fine art ceramics gallery, take a weekly class, come for a workshop, and stock up on pottery supplies.

In the days leading up to our Grand Reopening, the excitement was impossible to miss. From social media shares and word of mouth to features in local media, the energy surrounding our return reminded us just how much this community has been rooting for us. We were especially honored to be highlighted by local publications, websites, and organizations in the lead up to the celebration, helping spread the word and share our story of rebuilding, resilience, and renewal.

When the day finally arrived, the response was beyond anything we could have hoped for. Our studio was filled with friends, students, artists, neighbors, and supporters who came ready to celebrate this new chapter with us. From packed demonstrations and a bustling gallery and tool shop to joyful conversations shared throughout the day, the entire event reflected the vibrant creative community that makes this place so special. We were also thrilled to have our local evening news, WLOS Channel 13, feature us in a story and kick off a live segment from our gallery.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, cheered us on, shared our story and supported us in ways big and small, thank you.

Your encouragement, elbow grease, and financial support carried us through the rebuilding process, and your presence at this event made our reopening feel not just successful, but deeply meaningful. We are incredibly grateful to have such a passionate and generous community behind us, and we cannot wait to continue creating with you in this new space.
