Celebrate fall in the mountains and you could be on your way to Dollywood’s Harvest Festival!

Upload a photo that shows off your fall spirit — whether it’s your cozy porch décor, creative pumpkin carvings, or favorite autumn moment. Everyone who enters will be part of our online Fall Photo Gallery, featured on MyMix965.com and 828newsNOW.com.

At the end of the contest, we’ll randomly select one winner from all photo entries to receive a four-pack of passes to Dollywood, where the Harvest Festival lights up the Smoky Mountains with music, rides, and glowing pumpkins.

Entries close Wednesday, October 22. One winner will be selected at random on Thursday, October 23 and notified via email.

Contest Rules

Beginning at 12:00am on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 and ending at 11:59pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 entrants can complete an entry form at 828newsNOW.com or MyMix965.com, including a photo to be added to the Fall Photo Gallery. All entries submitted and approved for inclusion in the photo gallery will be eligible for a chance to win a 4-pack of tickets to Dollywood.

There will be one grand prize-winning photo selected at random from all elgible entries. The winning photo will be announced online at MyMix965.com and 828newsNOW.com on Thursday, October 23, 2025. One Grand Prize winner will receive (4) tickets to Dollywood: estimated retail value is $90 per ticket for a total estimated retail value of $360.

The contest is open to all eligible residents, age twenty-one (18) years or older at the time of entry, living within 75 miles of the station transmitter(s).

All approved photo entries will be featured on 828newsNOW.com and MyMix965.com from 12:00am on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 through 11:59pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Winner will be selected via a random drawing by a representative of Asheville Media Group on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Winner will be notified via email on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Winner will claim Dollywood tickets at Asheville Media Group (1190 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28806) during Prize Pick Up Hours (Monday – friday, Noon – 4pm). Winner must claim prize within 30 days of notification of win.

By submitting your photo to WOXL FM Mix 96.5 and 98.1 The River, you give us permission to share the image on our web and social media sites.

The public can submit one entry per household. Mix 96.5 and 828newsNOW.com reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion.

WOXL-FM Mix 96.5 will conduct this contest concurrently and simultaneously with 828newsNOW.com. Listeners of WOXL-FM Mix 96.5 will, therefore, be competing with entrants on 828newsNOW.com to win the same prize.

The Fall Photo Gallery Contest is open to all eligible residents, age eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry, living within 75 miles of the station transmitter(s) who have not won anything on WOXL FM Mix 96.5 or 828newsNOW.com in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner.

Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Employees of WOXL FM Mix 96.5 and 828newsNOW.com, Asheville Radio Group, Saga Communications of North Carolina, L.L.C., and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the (station) main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
