Congrats to Shannon Vilcinskas at Brush Creek Elementary School in Marshall, our M.B. Haynes Teacher of the Month!

The Morning Mix with Melanie teamed up with Chris Pennington from M.B. Haynes to surprise Ms. Vilcinskas with the news in her classroom.

As our newest Teacher of the Month, she was presented with prizes from our generous prize sponsors: MB Haynes and Asheville Deal!

Ms. Vilcinskas was nominated by Ariel Ramsey, who shared this when she nominated her to become Teacher of the Month:

I currently have a child in Miss V’s kindergarten class. This is my third child, who has had Miss V, and I hope and pray that my fourth will too. I’ve never met a better teacher or one that cared more about her students. Then she does if there is a teacher in North Carolina in the United States, that deserves to be recognized for being the teacher of the Century it is Miss V!!!!
