Robin Cape: Chair (Term expires November 13, 2023) Max Haner (Term expires November 13, 2024) Nian Avery (Term expires November 13, 2024) Chappell Carter (Term expires November 13, 2025) Charles Triber (Term expires November 13, 2026)The Asheville ABC Board is appointed by Asheville’s City Council and serves at their pleasure. The Board has authority over administration, real estate, personnel and retail sales of liquor inside Asheville’s corporate limits. It is an independent unit of government which assures the responsible operation of the system within the boundaries of the laws and rules of North Carolina.
