For over 35 years, the Asheville Downtown Association has been at the forefront of nurturing and developing the economic heart of Western North Carolina.

We care about our community and want everyone to feel welcome in the organization as well as in Downtown. We show sincere interest in supporting all people and work collaboratively with diverse groups. We advocate for local economic and social issues, safety, and beautification of Downtown. We are known for our vibrant, entertaining events that bring people together. Our members are dynamic people–they are optimistic, playful, and bold. They celebrate wins. They know that being a part of Downtown means having fun, making new friends, and offering everyone a sense of belonging.
