Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte – 4/5/2026
Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte – 4/5/2026

Jesse Boeckermann; Western Region Director Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte

We are a Christian ministry of charity, service, and justice dedicated to providing help to those in need, hope to those in despair, and inspiration for others to follow. Inspired by Christ’s call to serve, we exist to provide compassionate and effective service to those in need, to advocate for justice, and to call upon others of good faith to do the same. The love of Christ impels us (II Cor. 5:14) to serve our neighbors in need (Mt. 25:31-46)–we cannot do otherwise (Deus Caritas Est, no. 25).

At Catholic Charities, we are:

  • Participant focused
  • Respectful of the dignity of all people
  • Faithful to the teachings, practices, and traditions of the Catholic Church
  • Dedicated to our mission
  • Committed to honesty and integrity
