Catholic Charities Western Region – 8/04/2024

Jesse Boeckermann, Western Region Director, Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte

We serve those who are poor and vulnerable in the Diocese of Charlotte. Our services are available to all of God’s people regardless of their age, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, or economic/social background. Through our services, we seek to strengthen families, build communities, and reduce poverty. We are a Christian ministry of charity, service, and justice dedicated to providing help to those in need, hope to those in despair, and inspiration for others to follow.
VISION Inspired by Christ’s call to serve, we exist to provide compassionate and effective service to those in need, to advocate for justice, and to call upon others of good faith to do the same.
PASSION-The love of Christ impels us (II Cor. 5:14) to serve our neighbors in need (Mt. 25:31-46)–we cannot do otherwise (Deus Caritas Est, no. 25). At Catholic Charities, we are:
Participant focused
Respectful of the dignity of all people
Faithful to the teachings, practices, and traditions of the Catholic Church
Dedicated to our mission
Committed to honesty and integrity
