CooperRiis (pronounced Cooper-Reese) is a non-profit residential healing community for adults with mental health challenges.

Since its launch in 2003, CooperRiis has supported over 2,200 individuals on their path to sustaining their mental health and independence.

CooperRiis Healing Community is committed to a personalized care approach with the help of a supportive community. Our short- and long-term residential mental health programs, located in Asheville and Mill Spring, North Carolina, provide a integrated system of care for adults 18 years or above at different stages of their recovery journey. We support individuals of all backgrounds and identities and are LGBTQIA+-affirming.

About the Event

This gathering is more than a brunch—it’s an opportunity to forge connections, hear transformative stories from our community, and see firsthand how your support can make a real difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health challenges. Myra Ruiz, senior reporter in Greenville, will guide us through our time together. Featured guest, Frank King, will blend humor and insight, enriching our dialogue about mental health.
